SCIENCE OF FREE WILL, THE

Every person, from the deepest thinker to the casual observer, is made of roughly 6.71×10^27 atoms, the very same ones that form galaxies and stars. Primarily composed of water and organic molecules, these atoms follow the deterministic laws of quantum electrodynamics, which have governed chemistry, biology, and life itself since the 1950s. If these laws determine the movement of every atom in our bodies, how can we possess free will— or is it an illusion, with true freedom lying within these physical constraints?
